THE HEART

a three month training in

ceremonial and therapeutic facilitation.

next cohort: fall 2026

::: prospective participants   :::

The Way of the Heart is designed for current *and aspiring* practitioners who understand that the capacity to facilitate transformative spaces for others hinges on the willingness to surrender to their own. The program is designed for teachers, guides, facilitators, therapists & ceremonialists looking to expand their capacity through the lens of ethics, integrity, intuition and honor.
The curriculum centers the immense responsibility required when tending the psyche and spirit of another person. The course balances polarities: cognition with intuition, lineage with emergence, therapeutic theory with embodied experience, masculine structure with feminine spaciousness. Along the way, participants are guided in the process of feeling, finding, and fortifying their true north as leaders.
Training, mentorship, and rites of passage are essential developmental processes on the path of becoming a mature and reverent facilitator. The path of service is a humbling one, and simply put– if a practitioner is not willing to take responsibility for their inner world and outer relationships, then they are not ready to be a practitioner. This statement is not meant to evoke judgment, but to invoke the responsibility of being let into another’s psyche, soma and soul. The modern landscapes of healing and spirituality are fraught with immaturity, confusion, and distortion. One does not need to look far to see the harm that has been, and continues to be, caused by this. This program specifically addresses, and deconstructs, current cultural norms within spiritual spaces; in service of course correction towards the true heart of service– devotion, discipline, ethics, compassion, humility and grace.

::: about the facilitator :::

For more than a decade, Evie Marie O'Connor has devoted her life to supporting others to the sacred terrains of: addiction, embodiment, spiritual emergence, expanded states of consciousness, developmental, generational, and societal trauma– and the vast range of behaviors and strategies that emerge in response. Through a multitude of modalities, she stewards people through the spacious spectrum of being human– without losing contact with their soul. In all of her offerings, she orients to life as ceremony and love as the true alchemist. She is honored to continue to serve at the altar of love; to walk alongside people through the portals of their pain to the space and grace that exists on the other side. Evie is equally devoted to offering her own work, as well as mentoring others on the path of service– to ensure that the medicine each person carried into this lifetime can be shared in an integrated, ethical and effective way.
